Returns and refunds

Our alfajores are fresh food. That changes the usual online-shopping rules in one important way, explained below, and does not change your rights if something goes wrong.

Last updated: 4 November 2026

Changed your mind?

The 14-day cancellation right in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to perishable goods, and alfajores are perishable. Once your order has been dispatched it cannot be returned for a refund because you no longer want it.

Before dispatch you can cancel free of charge: email us with your order number and, if we have not started baking, we refund in full.

Damaged, late or not as described

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected. If a box arrives damaged, is missing items, is not what you ordered or is not of satisfactory quality, please email us as soon as you can, ideally within three days of delivery and with your order number and a photo, because food does not keep. We will send a replacement in the next bake or refund you in full, including delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If a parcel is lost by the carrier we will replace or refund it once the carrier confirms the loss, or after 10 working days without delivery, whichever comes first.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 working days of our confirmation.

Gifts

If you received a box as a gift and there is a problem, you or the person who ordered it can contact us. We refund the purchaser.
